This duvet insert is absolutely amazing. It's nice and warm without being too heavy. I usually need 2 blankets no matter what kind of blanket it is. This one I didn't need any kind of top blanket to stay warm. It's nice and fluffy, and very soft. It fit my duvet cover perfectly (red). There isn't any noise as the shell is also very soft. My boyfriend and I need our own blankets, and mine is twice as fluffy as his. Both are folded in half but mine out fluffs his by a lot. The picture of the duvet insert without the cover, was only just opened and out of the box approximately 20 mins. It's since fluffed up a lot more. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, after a ton of research I decided on this one, and I'm so glad I did.
