I was tempted to give this a 3-star review, but I think the finished product looks pretty nice and that was what was important to me when I purchased it.I put this together myself (so I know it can be done), but it's a chore, and would go much easier with two people. The instructions are the basic "follow the pictures" step-by-step outline which is pretty common these days.Interestingly enough, the hardest part was attaching the hooks to the side panels. This required some measuring (to get them aligned correctly) and some brute strength if you don't have access to a power drill. It would have been nice if the manufacturer had drilled the guild holes for you - just saying. Again, I accomplished this myself, but another set of hands would really help with attaching the hooks. One thing to keep in mind is that you will ABSOLUTELY need a good 6" Phillips Screwdriver to put this together. There is a small screwdriver included with the parts. It's worthless. Seriously? Why bother?One last thing... I noticed some people complained about missing guide holes in previous reviews. Although I didn't have any issues there, the package was short 2 screws (of a particular type). I managed to work around that problem without much trouble.In short, this is a nice looking, fairly sturdy stand that presents a nice addition to a room. Just get a friend to help with the assembly and have a good, solid 6" screwdriver handy.Grade [C] for assembly.... [B] for overall look... and the price seems fair
